In many cities you you are able to borrow a bicycle, but in Nólsoy you can borrow a barrow.
Barrows do not pollute, they do not make noise – and are just a bit more charming.
These eight wheelbarrows are placed partly, where the ferry docks and partly by the shop.
The barrows are beautifully decorated by the villagers, and are not suitable to use for sand, rocks or very heavy stuff.
Feel free to use a barrow to take your luggage or your shopping to the place, where you stay.
And please, after use, put it back on the spot, where you took it.
